Yuck, it’s all sticky! I don’t know, just get rid of it. Wait a minute, I think this conversation is being blogged. Dammit, it is! Stupid dictation software!
Official Greetings! Welcome to this week’s ThrowBack Thursday! This week’s episode (and believe me, I’ve had plenty of “episodes”) is a hodgepodge of photos from three day trips, each of which took place some time in the spring of 2013. We start things off in the countryside around the town of Larkspur, Colorado…

…then up into the forest west of Larkspur, into the woods of Rampart Range…

On another day that same spring, I went to the fabled old mining town of Central City, Colorado…

On yet another day that same spring, I finally (after living in Colorado for nearly 22 years) photographed what I call “The Reveal” on Interstate 70 west of Denver…

I didn’t drive up I-70 just to photograph The Reveal. No, I was on my way to the ghost town of Gilman, and to what is probably the most-photographed bridge in the state of Colorado. But I’ll leave those for next week.
