Colorado 2022 Trip Report (the last few days)

When it came time to head back to Denver, I knew I didn’t want to go back the same way I had come (see the “Delay 5” paragraph under Day 3). So, rather than go straight south to I-70, I went east to the town of Meeker, then south to I-70. Not only was this a more enjoyable drive, it was also MUCH shorter (from Rangely to Rifle in 93 miles vs. 150 miles). But before leaving Rangely, I wanted to get a couple of quick pics around the town. Yes, “around” the town, not “in” or “of” the town.

Next, some pictures taken along state highway 64 between Rangely and Meeker…

I took very few pics along the stretch of state highway 13 between Meeker and Rifle…

And I got a few snaps along my favorite stretch of I-70 (Copper Mountain to Frisco)…

After this, I went to Blackhawk and did some gambling. I lost YOUR life savings. Then I spent a couple days hanging out with friends and family, which was enjoyable, but nothing to bore the larger audience with. I did get a few more pictures along a different stretch of I-70, but I want to present those as part of an investigative report. I hope to have that posted in the next week or so, as its own thing; i.e., not as part of a Trip Report. But before then, ThrowBack Thursday shall return! Later, gaiters!
