ThrowBack Thursday (TBT), as you have come to know it here on Voyages With Parkinson’s, was originally created as a way to force myself to catch up on what had become a nine-year backlog of photos. I am now caught up (or will be once this post goes live). Today’s TBT consists of just a few photos from around my home because that’s all that was left in the backlog. Let’s start with a few shots of springtime in the Carolinas (photos taken March 22, 2021):

About a month after the above pics were taken, I got my first snapshot of Ballards Pond’s very part-time resident great blue heron:

I recently threw down the cash to get a BIG zoom lens, so I’m eager to see Mr. Heron return. I won’t need the zoom lens to get pictures of frogs, though. They just come right on into the house, like this one did. Notice that the frog has a Bear hair sticking to his butt.

Speaking of Bear, here are a few shots of him:

Lastly, I bring you snow. In Charlotte. Well, in Matthews actually, but it was in Charlotte, too. This was January 16, 2022:

My photographic backlog HAS BEEN CLEARED! The curse has been lifted! Long live Jambi! But what does this mean for TBT? Fear not, TBT fans, for I have loads of material left – stuff that was not part of the backlog and/or stuff that I only ever shared with Facebook friends (before I started this blog). That said, there will be no TBT for the next three weeks, as I will instead be reporting from the road. I will be driving around “the rest of Wyoming”, but before that, I will most likely be exploring a thin strip of Colorado that I have not yet explored. Stay tuned!
